Phillip Norfleet

With his loving wife by his side, Phillip Norfleet, 72 years old, passed away peacefully April 27, 2026. Phillip was born February 22, 1954 in Clarksville, TN and was a longtime resident of Tallassee, AL.

Phillip, lovingly known as "Cool Pop," was the life of every party and the heart of his family. Whether he was hosting on his legendary back deck or simply making people laugh, he had a way of bringing everyone together.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Linn and Jane Norfleet. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Fran Norfleet; his daughter, Amanda (Robby) Glasscock; his son, Hilton (Tracy) Salzedas; grandchildren, Sarah Jane, Jacob, and Thomas Patterson; Kinsley and Troy Glasscock; and Kayden Salzedas and Lexi Sponsler, as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

He loved deeply, took care of everyone around him, and beamed with pride for his family. He was smart, caring, and, if you asked him, always right. Cool Pop leaves behind a legacy of laughter, love, and unforgettable moments. He will be missed dearly, but his spirit will live on anywhere people gather, share stories, and enjoy life, just like he always did.

Living Water Worship Center will host visitation beginning at 4:00 pm on Friday, May 1, 2026, followed by a celebration of life service at 5:00 pm with Rev. Chris Whittington officiating.
