Mr. Richard Leon Emmons, 54, a resident of Tallassee, passed away August 15, 2010.He was born February 15, 1956 in St. Louis, Missouri.
His survivors include his wife, Jeanne Emmons; sons, Allen Christopher Vieluf (Anna) and Shane Irwin Booth; daughter, Jill Emmons; parents, Alvie and Lavada Emmons; brothers, David Emmons (Diane) and Mark Emmons (Cindy) and grandson, John Herbert Corley IV. He is preceded in death by a brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Patty Emmons.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 21, 2010 at 1:30 pm at Tallaweka Baptist Church with Rev. Isaac Kervin officiating.
