Richard Mason
May 15, 1932 — January 1, 2018
Mr. Richard A. Mason, 85, of Tallassee, passed away January 1, 2018. He was born May 15, 1932.
Funeral service will be Thursday, January 4, 2018, at 2 pm at Tallassee Church of Christ with Ministers John David Parker, Duane Wooten and Timothy Mann officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery, Linville Memorial Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be prior to the funeral at the church beginning at 12 noon.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Mason; children, Robert Jeff Watkins (Starla), Brett D. Watkins (Nona) and Rhett T. Watkins; sister, Jane Hughes (Benny); eleven grandchildren; twenty-six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Archie and Ida Mason; brothers, Thomas Mason and Sherwood Mason and sister, Esther Lumpkin.
