Richard Walters

Mr. Richard Walters, age 81, of Tallassee, passed away January 21, 2013. He was born July 19, 1931.

Funeral service will be Thursday, January 24, 2013 at 1:00 pm at Macedonia Christian Church with Rev. David Hooks officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery, Linville Memorial Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Thursday, January 24, 2013 from 11:00 am to service time at the church.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Hathcock Walters; brothers, Elmer Henry Walters (Barbara) and Robert Leon Walters; stepchildren, Mary Ellen Ledbetter, Ronald Calvin Hathcock and Phillip Wayne Hathcock; nephews, Ronnie Walters, Donny Walters, Johnny Walters, Danny Walters, Leon Walters, Randy Walters and David Walters; and nieces, Violet Walters and Anita Walters. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Luverne Bullard Walters and a sister, Lillie Mae Jackson.
