Robert C. Cox Jr.

Robert C. Cox Jr. from Eclectic, Alabama, passed away September 17, 2025 at 4:30 a.m. in Bessemer, Alabama, from a fatal car accident at the age of 73. Robert was born in Two Egg, Florida, on May 13, 1953.

Robert is survived by his wife of 33 years, Joyce Cox; four children and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom he loved more than anything in this world.

He was a law enforcement officer for 50 years and enjoyed every minute of it. He was an avid Nascar fan and loved Alabama football. He could talk to you for hours and tell stories from the past. He will be forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.

His service will be Monday, September 29, 2025 at 12:00 noon at Linville Memorial Funeral Home, 84632 Tallassee Highway, Eclectic, Alabama.
