Robert Lester Dunn, Sr.

Robert Lester Dunn, Sr., 78, of Eclectic, passed away April 9, 2026. He was born August 9, 1947.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Emory Dunn and Kathleen Dunn.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mary Dunn; sons, Robert (Bobby) L. Dunn, Jr. and Lewis (Eddie) Edward Dunn; grandsons, Shay Dunn (Bobby), Matthew Dunn (Eddie) and Gabe Dunn (Eddie); great-granddaughters, Adelaine Dunn and Saylor Dunn and brother, Ronnie Dunn.

He was employed by the State of Alabama DOT (retired) for 33 years. After 2-1/2 years of retirement, he joined Hydro Engineering Solutions where he was employed for 13 years before he retired again.

He was a 50-year member of Killigee Masonic Lodge No. 199.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2026 at 2 pm at Linville Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Chad Middlebrooks officiating. Family visitation will be held at the Dunn family home following the memorial service.
