Ruth Gates

Mrs. Ruth Gates, age 80, of Tallassee, passed away February 3, 2013. She was born April 13, 1932.
Visitation will be Tuesday, February 5, 2013 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Linville Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at 11:00 am at Westside Baptist Church with Rev. Rick Dorley officiating, burial at Rose Hill Cemetery, Linville Memorial Funeral Home directing.
She is survived by daughters, Jenell Lynch and Joan Griffith; sisters, Patricia Ledbetter and Janice Parker; eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Grover W. Gates, Sr.; daughter, Paula Lee Manning Gates and a son, Mark Gates.
