Sallie Ruth Bice

Mrs. Sallie Ruth Bice, 79, of Tallassee, passed away Monday, November 11, 2013. She was born January 22, 1934.

Visitation will be Tuesday, November 12, 2013 from 5-8 pm at Linville Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at 2 pm from the funeral home chapel with Rev. Randy Billingsley officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery, Linville Memorial Funeral Home directing.

She is survived by daughters, Nancy Resendiz (Jessie), Brenda G. Barrett, Debra Cullars (James) and Elizabeth Ann Bice; sisters, Betty Ann Singleton and Marilyn Williams; brother, Johnny D. Gaither, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, whom she loved very much.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Drue and Lennie Bell Gaither; husband, Johnny Mack Bice; children, Michael Gene Bice, Johnny Mack Bice, Jr. and Wilma Gay Strength; brothers, Samuel Drue Gaither and Tommy Gaither; sister, Mary Charles Powell and great grandson, Trenton Dean Butler.
