Samuel Burdette

Mr. Samuel Stephen Burdette, 64, of Tallassee, passed away Sunday, January 11, 2015. He was born April 1, 1950. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 13 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Linville Memorial Funeral Home. Graveside service will be Wednesday at 11:00 am at Providence United Methodist Church Cemetery, Titus, Alabama, with Rev. Stephen Anthony officiating, Linville Memorial Funeral Home directing.

He is survived by wife, Linda Hall Burdette; son, Chris Austin Burdette (Amy); daughter, Heather Renee Burdette; grandchildren, Halley Alexis Burdette, Chris Austin Burdette Jr., Alyssa Jean Marie Bellefleur and Aliyah Mary Lynn Bellefleur; brother, Chester Burdette Jr; and sisters, Marguerite McCurry, Margie Taylor, Marilyn Pullen, Helen Goodman and Julia Goodpastor.

Mr. Burdette honorably served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Wounded Warrior Project. Online condolences at www.linvillememorial.com.
