Sand Lawson Day "Ronnie"

Sand Lawson Day "Ronnie", age 74, of Kent, passed away on October 21, 2025. He was born July 8, 1951 to Ronald Day and Dorothy Capps in Montgomery, Alabama.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother Bobby Day and sister Mary Southern.

He is survived by his sister Priscilla Jones; children Albert Day, Anna (Chris) Bush and Ron (Haley) Day; grandchildren Elizabeth (Myles) Patten, Rye Day, Brittney Stiff, Angel Day, Isaiah Motes, Rebecca Day, Madilyn Day and Dylan Bush; and great-grandchild Penelope Stafford.

Sand loved spending time with family and friends, enjoyed hunting and NASCAR and did woodworking. He worked at Neptune till he retired.

Services will be held Monday, October 27, 2025. Visitation at 11 am at Linville Memorial Funeral Home, followed by graveside service at 12 noon at Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Rev. Clint McBroom will be officiating.
