Sandra Rebecca Taylor

Mrs. Sandra Taylor, 81, of Tallassee, went to be with her Savior on December 31, 2022 surrounded by her husband and family. She was born December 27, 1941 and raised in Bremerton, Washington.

A memorial service will be held from East Tallassee Church of Christ, where she was a member for many years. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am, followed by the memorial service at 12:00 pm on Saturday, January 7, 2023. Minister Mike McElroy will be officiating.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles Alexander and Ardellia Flossie Cooksey.

She is survived by her husband of 39 years, James Taylor; children, Tracy Daar, Edward Daar, Chuck (Kim) Daar and Della (Brian) Henderson; grandchildren, Clay (Chari) Henderson, Megan (Richard) Salter, Blake (Amanda) Daar, Justin Daar, Jake (Samantha) Henderson, Courtney (Chris) Mason, Tracy (Brittany) Daar, Zachary Daar, Brianna Henderson, Tyler Daar, Spencer Daar and Alex Daar; and fifteen great-grandchildren.

Sandra spent the past 46 years residing in Tallassee, Alabama with her husband. Sandra, or Sandy as her friends and family called her, loved the Lord. Sandy will be best remembered for her sweet smile and warm heart along with helping others and the love she had for her family.
