Sharion Elaine Marble

Sharion Elaine Marble of Tallassee, Alabama, passed away peacefully on June 22, 2025 at the age of 75. She was born September 19, 1949 in Denver, Colorado.

She is preceded in death by her precious son, Jeffrey Paul Cole; and her parents, Custer Tim and Elaine (Norrell) Marble.

Sharion is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Cole Miller; daughter, Melanie Cole Hacker; brother, Dr. Kevin Marble (Melinda); sister, Sonya Marble; her beloved grandchildren, Jeffrey and Adrienne Kidd, Dylan Kidd, Brock Wallace, Emily Hacker, Lindsey Hacker; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and lifelong friends .

Ms. Marble (as she was known by former students/coworkers) or better known as Grammie (the name given by her grandkids) graduated from Tallassee High School in 1967. She was an active member of Liberty Baptist Church.

She retired after 24 years at Tallassee Elementary School as a library and teacher's aide, as well as many years working with children with disabilities. Ms. Marble also worked with children in an after-school program for many years. She referred to any child that she ever worked with as her baby and loved them.

Sharion enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, reading, taking trips, attending church, and watching her grandchildren participate in anything. She was an avid prayer warrior who made time for daily Bible readings and relished in quiet time with her Savior that would last hours each morning. Her generosity towards others was unsurpassed. Sharion was patient, forgiving, uplifting and often helped others without being asked.

If it were to be narrowed down, Sharion's special talent would be her ability to love and make one feel loved. If anyone ever experienced the abundance of pure love she offered, then they were lucky.

Liberty Baptist Church will be conducting a celebration of life service at 10:30am, Thursday, July 3, 2025. The church is located at 574 Liberty Rd, Tallassee, AL 36078.
