Shelia "Nanny" Gresham

Shelia "Nanny" Gresham, 64, of Camp Hill, passed away on Monday, December 11, 2023. She was born February 7, 1959 in Texas and raised in Louisiana.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 13, 2023 from 5 to 7 pm at Linville Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday, December 14, 2023 at 12 pm at her home church of Camp Hill Methodist Church of Antioch, 94 Roxana Rd, Camp Hill, AL 36850. Rev. Calvin McKee and Rev. Jimmy Allen will be officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Cloteel Keith and Earl Harrell. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Don Gresham, Sr.; son, Don Gresham, Jr.; daughter, Karyn Hammock (Casey); grandchildren, Dawson (Moenousha), Hayden, Makinna (Jake), Alyssa and Cole; brothers, Lamar Harrell and Lonnie Harrell; sister, Sandra Stringer; bonus daughter, Bridget Rutland and a multitude of nieces, nephews and friends.

Shelia enjoyed every minute with her grandchildren and they loved her in return. She lived her life for her salvation with Jesus and spent every minute telling people about Jesus. She was a very compassionate and caring woman who spent all her time taking care of others. She loved her church and her church family. She was a very humble lady who didn't want for much and always talked about her mansion in heaven. Shelia has been described by so many in the last few days with words like caregiver, God-fearing, prayer warrior, humble, loving, honest, great as they come and a saint. Her family is so proud of the legacy she leaves for all to remember.
