Shelia Diane Henderson

Shelia Diane Gresham Henderson, 64, of Tallassee, passed away Thursday, June 26, 2014. Shelia was born October 24, 1949 in East Tallassee and she was a resident of Hillabee Towers in Alexander City.

She is survived by her children, Rhonda Matlock (Dwayne), Coby Griffith (Paula) and Brad Griffith (Shona); sisters, Sandra Hall, Vicky Barnes (Donnie),Eleanor Blakely and Tammy Dickerson (Terry); brother, Tommy Gresham (Becky); four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Thomas “Chunk” Henderson; mother, Eloise Stalnaker Knowles; stepfather, Harold Morrell ”Red” Knowles and father, James Alexander “Rip” Gresham.

A graveside memorial service will be held in her honor at 10:00 am on Monday, June 30, 2014 at Carrville Cemetery with Rev. Herman Knapp officiating.
