Sylvia R. Williams, 74 , of Tallassee, passed away October 6, 2020. She was born July 27, 1946.
Cremation services have been selected and a memorial service will be announced at a later date.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Gary “Shorty” Williams; parents, Lester Gordon and Minnie Lee Thornton Roberts and sister, Patricia Ann Hughes.
She is survived by her children, Patricia Gayle Dupre (Wayne) and Lester Allen Williams (Kathy); grandchildren, Jacquline Nicole Williams, Katleen Dawn Williams (B.J.) and Corey Lee Dupre (Meaghan); great grandchildren, Taylor Allen Kelly and Kaleb James Medrano; her beloved dog “Sweet Pea” and a large, loving extended family.
She enjoyed watching “her” chickens, gossiping on the phone and participating in neighborhood watch.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions of love be made in her memory to Linville Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory.
