Coach Terry Burt, 75, of Eclectic, passed away September 27, 2013. He was born March 10, 1938.
Visitation will be Sunday, September 29, 2013 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Linville Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Monday, September 30, 2013 at 11:00 am at First Baptist Church of Eclectic with Rev. Britt Green and Rev. Roger Boswell officiating. Burial will follow at 3:00 pm at Mt Carmel Cemetery in Greenville, AL with Linville Memorial Funeral Home directing.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda Newsome Burt; daughters, Teresa Hodge and Pidge Yeager; sisters, Ginny MacDonald and Mary Ann Merrill; and grandchildren, Luke Yeager, Becca Yeager, Cody Hodge, Lilly Yeager and Teri Hodge. He is preceded in death by brothers, Warren Burt and Frank Burt.
In lieu of flowers,the family requests donations to Abe Brown Memorial Scholarship Fund, Elmore County Community Foundation, 33 S. Court St, Montgomery, AL 36104.
