Thomas "Tommy" Helton

Tommy Helton, 59, of Tallassee, passed away August 18, 2017. He was born April 30, 1958.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at 10 am at Linville Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Byron Golden and Rev. Mark Osgood officiating. Pall bearers will be Jonny Crouse, Cullen Chalker, Johnny “Whitty” Robbins, James McCallester, Danny K. Parker, TJ Nedervelt, Chris Griffin and Burke Hughes. Honorary pall bearers will be Steven Helton, John Lett, Tony Helton, Michael Morris, Chris Massey, Kevin Nedervelt and Kyle Nedervelt. Burial will follow at Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery on Grier Rd, Wetumpka, Linville Memorial Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Monday, August 21, 2017 from 5 to 7 pm at Linville Memorial Funeral Home.

He is survived by his wife, Teri Helton; mother, Peggy Helton; father, Thomas Helton; children Beth Helton, Kellie Helton and Keith Helton; brother, Craig Helton; sister, Donna Lett; grandchildren, Mitchell Helton, Kaylee Widgeon, Cooper Helton and Taylor Morris; mother-in-law, Kay Earick; sister-in-law, Korki Nedervelt and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by brothers, Tim Helton and Doug Helton.

Tommy was employed with Kowaliga Marina as a parts manager and shop foreman. He was loved by his family and will be greatly missed.
