Thomas "Tommy" Smith

Thomas "Tommy" Smith, age 42, of Tallassee, passed away November 5, 2025. He was born October 4, 1983.

Visitation will begin at 10 am, Monday, November 10, 2025 at Linville Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 12 pm with Rev. Josh Dixon officiating.

He is survived by his mother and father, Ronnie and Tammy Smith; wife, Paris Smith; daughters, Morgan Henderson (Austin), Bailey Smith (Chris), Aubrey Smith (John) and Rajah Verrett; son, Joseph Verrett; sisters, Valerie Smith (Brandon) and Jennifer Reed; brother, Jeremy Smith (Courtney); grandchildren, Layla Pillard and Bryer Henderson; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and a great nephew.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Thomas Gaither, Mary Alice Edmiston, Leroy Smith, Thelma Smith, Joseph Botsford and Cora Botsford.

Tommy loved his family and his dog, Kai. He enjoyed working on projects with his dad, loved watching Alabama football with his wife, loved to hunt and fish, loved making pens and playing mortal combat with his son and call of duty with his family, and spending time with his wife, five kids and two grandchildren.
