Voncille Howard Patterson

Voncille Howard Patterson, 97, a long time resident of East Tallassee, passed away March 31, 2010. She was born January 3, 1913.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 am, Saturday, April 3, 2010 at Rose Hill Cemetery with Rev. Anthony Counts officiating, Linville Memorial Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, Saturday, April 3, 2010 at Rose Hill Cemetery.

She is survived by daughters, Virginia Bass (Billy Joe) and Mary Russell (Carroll), both of Wetumpka, AL; grandchildren, William Danny Robinson (Charlyn) of Traer, IA; Jan Hollon (Ricky) of Montgomery, AL and Ginger Teffeteller (George David Junior) of Maryville, TN; nine great-grandchildren, Bill, Greg, David and Ann Robinson, Erin and Carmen Hollon, Kristen Spraggins and Matthew and Scott Ramsey; sister, Dorothy Crowson (Lex) of Montgomery, AL; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Wilbur Patterson; father and mother, John Calvin and Pearl O. Howard; sister, Hazel Goss; and brothers, Johnny Howard and Mack Howard.

Voncille was retired from Tallassee Mount Vernon Mills after 47 years of service. She loved the Lord and her family. She was a member of East Tallassee Baptist Church for over 70 years.
