Mr. William Owens, 67, of Wetumpka, passed away Friday, September 20, 2013. He was born February 21, 1946.
Visitation will be Saturday, September 21, 2013 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Linville Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Sunday, September 22, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Claud Independent Methodist Church with Rev. Mike Weldon officiating. Burial will follow at Claud Cemetery with military honors, Linville Memorial Funeral Home directing.
He is survived by his wife, Janice Owens; son, David Owens (Christy); grandchildren, Katelan Owens and Brooke Owens; sisters, Sue Grier and Goldie Fike; brothers, James Owens, Gene Owens, Barney Owens, Larry Owens and Bill Owens; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Claud Independent Methodist Church, 81232 Tallassee Hwy, Eclectic, AL 36024 or Sun Valley Indian School – AZ, 8450 Sun Valley Rd, Sun Valley, AZ 86029.
