Winnie Jean McCarty

Winnie McCarty, 88, of Notasulga, passed away June 4, 2024. She was born March 24, 1936.

She is survived by her children, Myra Pierce, Jerome McCarty (Charlie), Marshia May (Robert)  and Phillip McCarty; son-in-law, Tim Benson; grandchildren, Tammy Henderson (Russell), Nanette Pierce, Jason McCarty (Laurie), Kimmie Barnes, Johnathon Webster (Samantha), Kade Studdard and Adadra Neville; great-grandchildren, Justin Roberson, Josh Roberson, Kyle McCarty, Malori McCarty, Wrett Barnes, Bella Studdard, Jonah Studdard, Titus Studdard, Kaitlyn Williams and Jessamine Williams and a host of great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by a daughter, Anna Benson and grandsons, Blair MGhar and Evan Williams.

Visitation will begin at 9 am, Friday, June 7, 2024 at Linville Memorial Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 10 am. Rev. Robert May will be officiating.  Burial will follow in Carrville Cemetery.
