Being organized can provide comfort during this time, ensuring that the first meeting to arrange care is productive, compassionate and tailored to your loved ones wishes.
Please ensure that these essential documents are brought to the arrangement conference:
- Government issued identification of the next of kin
- Social Security number of the deceased
- Birth certificate and, if applicable, marriage certificate
- Copies of pertinent insurance policies (life insurance, burial insurance)
- Military discharge papers, if applicable (DD214)
Providing these documents enables us to handle essential paperwork for you, such as filing the death certificate or securing veteran funeral honors, so that you can focus on remembrance and healing.
